What's new
What's new in Letos — the changes you'll notice in the app, by date.
On this page
This is where we keep a running list of changes you’ll see in the app. The newest are at the top.
15 October 2026
- OpenPGP (desktop): you can Sign and Encrypt a message right in the compose window. Manage keys in Settings → Security → OpenPGP keys; they stay on this device only. On a received message you see whether the Signature is valid and whether it is Encrypted. OpenPGP isn’t available in the web version. See Mail.
- Sending from several addresses: add Send-as aliases to a mailbox, each verified with a code from an e-mail. In the compose window you choose in the From field which address the message goes out from, and each alias can have its own signature. See Mail.
- VIP senders: mark a sender with the star as VIP and their mail gets through even in Do not disturb. The Inbox has a VIP only filter. See Notifications.
- Reply snippets: insert ready-made text with
;shortcutor from the command palette. They support the{jmeno},{datum}and{podpis}variables and sync across your devices. See Mail. - Quick replies: on a thread, open the More reply options menu (▾) next to the Reply button and pick Reply with an AI suggestion (or press ⌥ R) — AI suggests three short reply texts right away (needs AI turned on). See AI.
- Search operators: search mail more precisely with
from:,to:,has:attachment,is:unread,in:archive, after:,before:and"exact phrase". See Mail. - Two-factor authentication and passkeys: in Settings → Letos account, add a code from an authenticator app (with backup codes) or a passkey. See Privacy and security.
- App updates (desktop): a new version downloads in the background and installs once you click Restart. Letos never restarts on its own, and the restart won’t work while you have an unsent message open. The settings are in Settings → Diagnostics → Updates.
- The F key opens search in Tasks. See Keyboard shortcuts.
- New page When something goes wrong: what the most common error messages mean and what to do about them.
10 October 2026
- Consent before data leaves: before data goes to a third party for the first time (AI, agents, e-mail notifications, sender logos, storing a key on the server on the web), Letos shows where, what and why — Allow or Decline. The new Settings → Privacy page lists every consent and lets you revoke any of them. See Privacy and security.
- Agents (MCP): every agent gets its own token with Read / Write access and optionally only selected modules; the token is shown once. On a new computer agents stay off until you allow them. See Agents and MCP.
- iPhone: Focus in the task detail — the Start 25 min button, pause, Done; the minutes are added to the task. See Tasks.
- iPhone (iOS 18+): focus and the Meeting countdown with a Join button on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. See Notifications.
- Drag an e-mail into your tasks: drop it on Today at a glance for a task due today, or on Tasks in the top bar for a task in the Inbox. Attachments come along, a drop can be undone, and the same message never makes a duplicate task. On the desktop and in the web version.
9 October 2026
- A new Letos home screen with the Today, Waiting for you and Letos (yearly goals) cards.
- A default Letos colour theme; your appearance carries over to a new device.
- Tasks have the Year · Overview · Triage views; settings are named Letos account and Email accounts.
- iPhone: four tabs, Settings under your avatar, a unified header.

- Calendar: an event peek on click.
- Holidays and name days in the calendar on the computer and iPhone, including other countries’ holidays.

- PDFs and other attachments open in your default app.
